Tashi came to me from the Oregon Humane Society from an abusive background. While his behavior due to his past never really subsided he was well loved. He bonded with me immediately and always stayed by me. I will miss our car rides and our walks. His absence is felt as he was always on guard in the hallway and keeping the neighborhood squirrels chased away if he spotted them. I will miss him hiding behind my legs when he was nervous or scared. I am sorry he had to suffer so much during his life but I know he loved all of us in his own special way. Tashi was such a unique dog and he will be unforgettable. It breaks my heart he was in pain at the end but Jessika at Compassionate Care helped him cross the rainbow bridge with a delicate, kind touch. It was very comforting having her help during this tough decision.
Thank You Tashi for being you. I will miss it all.
