Our sweet Sami girl. She loved her walks, and especially loved her butt
scratches. She was rescued as a puppy, when she was left behind by a
family. She quickly made us her family and even became a Certified
emotional support animal for her mom. We brought her to Washington from
Arizona to care for her and figure out what we could do for her health
issues. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cutaneous lymphoma,
and within two months of that diagnosis, we had come to the most
difficult decision we have had to make. Until the very end, she didn’t
seem to let anything phase her. She still enjoyed her walks and always
was excited for snacks (her favorite was blueberries). Our home feels
empty, and our hearts will always miss her. She was almost 9, still
young at heart and had eyes that would look into your soul. She was so
smart, too smart for her own good. Rest easy, sweet girl.
