Natalie De Luiz

I lost my big, beautiful German Shepherd boy, Magnus, suddenly and without warning after a medical event at home in March. He was young and healthy up to that point. Megan helped me with the inquiry and patiently answered my numerous questions. I could not have survived this ordeal without Gina Berquist’s support. Her kindness, compassion, and empathy helped guide me through the process. Because it happened so suddenly, my memory of that day is a “blur.”

This was the only place, of the three I called, that allowed me a few minutes in private (with a screen) to spend some time saying goodbye to my dear boy. The only one. It meant so much.

I’ve worked in the medical field for 40 years, caring for very ill and terminal patients, and I can’t tell you how important it is for families to be given time to say goodbye after a passing. Mahalo to Dr. Lori Gibson for providing this caring place where we can see our furry loved ones, our family, off to the Rainbow Bridge.
