Atticus Finch Andrews (October 21, 2001-May 29, 2015) was one week short of a glorious victory lap around the sun when he needed the efforts of Compassionate Care on May 29, 2015.
Atticus loved people, balls, sticks, his frisbee, and adventure. He accompanied his human companion on hikes, road trips, creek dips, in-town jaunts…they even managed to ride bikes together a few times. Atticus lived in Portland most of his life, but got to sniff the ground in many of the western states and lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Missoula, Montana, for a year.
Starting in Montana and continuing the final three or so years of his life, Atticus’ life was photodocumented on The Daily Atticus. This is one of the ways Atticus made countless friends in multiple countries before he died.
Although you may have never met this goofy, gentle ginger, we hope you’ll still be his friend.
